Why Mangapapa is the best trailer.

Do you know what the best school is in Gisborne? Well come to Mangapapa School and check out what it's like.

Room 3 & 4 were learning how to make a wevideo on what we have at our school and to share what is fun and makes our school awesome.  We talked about things like the playground, the art room, swimming pool and our sports field we all the stuff that happens in the classrooms.

I found it easier to make the video because it's my second time doing it so I knew what I was doing. Mr Fourie also gave really easy instructions on what to do and some tips and tricks for the video.  These really helped!

I found it difficult to get the voice over on the video because some parts are challenging because it would go over for a little bit.  It was hard because Mangapapa is a really good school so its hard to get the photos for it to show all the things that make it awesome.

I chose to advertise two things because we have lovely art and playgrounds to advertise.

The best way to inform people is video because I explain and this tells them what is good about it.  Video is a good media to use for this.

It was amazing making the video because its really fun editing and creating videos. I like brainstorming ideas and creating ideas and the best part is getting help from friends and partners and also spending school time making a video on what's best at Mangapapa.

I need to work on adding more detail, take more time for what I need and go slow on the voice over because  I can have more tries if I need to get the perfect voice over and get the timing perfect.

Do you believe  in everything you see?

Room 3 & 4 were learning on to not believe  everything we see because a lot of people use photoshop to trick people and make you believe stuff.

It was easy to get the photo and myself because I used  remove bng to put them together but  I could try make it more realistic.

It was hard to get put them together and make it look real for  the buddy we had and to try and make them go there.

Next time I could try and get better photos for what I need and to make the photo and the person look real for  the photo.

Don't believe in everything you see!

 Do you know what photoshop is? Well if you dont its where people steal images and combine them together and make you believe it´s real.

Room 3 & 4 were learning how to use photoshop and to not believe in everything that you see.  We created our real or fake images by just adding a few images together.

I found it easy to combine the photos together, put them by each other and make it fit in because I was removing some stuff off the photo and making it work.  I used Remove.bg to remove the backgrounds from the images that I wanted to use.

It was hard to find the right photos because if I saw one I liked it wouldn't fit in to the theme so I had to take it slow.

Next time I could think of what to do more creatively with a lot more images to combined.

Art time.

learning how to make a owl with pastels. 

Room 4 were learning how to make owls with the perfect mix of pastels in the art room.

I found it easy to draw what I needed because there was a copy and because there was what we needed.

I found it hard to mix the pastels because we had to get different colors for blending.

I need to work on mixing the colors and pastels so when I make art I can blend together.

Eats & entertainments mini gala

 Do you want to have fun on  November Friday 13th? Well if you want to come to mangapapa school small gala 5 Rua street 5pm-7pm

Room 3&4 were learning how to use piktochart and  making a gala poster to get people to come to the eats and entertainment small gala going towards the school.

While I was making the poster I found it challenging to get ideas about what it was and what there was going to be but when I new what there was it was quite easy to get what I needed.

It was quite easy when I got told for what was happening for the gala so I could the photos and the writing in.

Next time I could add a bit more photos or and writing to catch the audience and to keep them reading with the photos and get it more catcher.

media i've consumed

 What media have you consumed the last week?

Here's some media i've consumed the last week.  We were learning about media we've consumed and with different media  instead of just devices.

When I was making the posting I didn't know that there was that media  in the world that people consume.

It was hard trying to find  the photos of media and easy knowing what it was because I consume media every day.

I need to improve on making it more brighter to get peoples attention more often.

Magic!!!

Today i'm going to show you magic. the magic I used was making my friends appear and disappear. 

The video  I made  is showing magic by making zac  appear and disappear out of nowhere and switching. 

 The skills we were using we editing , cutting,recording, and crafting with zac and tawera

To make a great video is To do  practice a few time and to take your time while doing it and not to rush while doing it cause it muck it up

 My next step  to finish the video make more appears because it's the same and to do a swap with it.

  To tell me if there's anything wrong with the video so I can make it better because I just made it.
